My experimentation with photographic collage began at Art Center Pasadena. Fascinated by the interplay of shadow and light, I began to explore the relationship of implied shapes and their cognitive suggestions. What began to resolve is that these new shapes create a shift in the visual perception toward a common associative memory, much like ink blot studies.
