still life

Still Life work has always been my solace, I myself become open to contemplative expression. The work most often is minimalistic and framed within a defined space. It is about control (the craft of composition and light) — and then the letting go so that something more meaningful can take place. As the composition evolves, so too must the light that defines and creates depth. Texture becomes an important consideration. It is my curious nature to explore the interrelationship of objects arranged in a defined space. The imagery is less about style or consistency and more about the uniqueness of expression.
